POST 101 is our Newborn & Postpartum class covering what to expect physically and emotionally while adjusting to life with a newborn.  We also cover the care and feeding of a newborn and mom’s recovery. This class is important for all new moms in the community! Cost is $20 per team. Teams include one mom or expectant mom and her support person(s).Please make childcare arrangements. Only 1 ticket is needed per team.

BIGS 101 is a fun sibling class! This class is a one hour hands-on class that explains what big brother or sister should expect the baby to do, how to help mommy, hand washing, and more! Includes a craft as a gift for baby. Held one Saturday every other month. Class is $20 per family, 1 ticket per family.

Nutrition 101 3/12/20

Wichita Falls Birth & Wellness Center 2001 Brooke St, Wichita Falls

The Nutrition 101 course is for expectant mothers, new mothers, and aspiring mothers.  Partners and other supporting individuals are also encouraged to enroll.  The ultimate goal is to share nutrition guidance with anyone interested in learning about optimal health and wellness practices leading up to pregnancy, throughout pregnancy, and within the early infancy phases of welcoming their newest family member home.  Also covered in this course:  Designing your Birth Team, Exercise tips/guidance, Foods to Avoid, "Superfoods" to Consume, proper food portion sizes, and additional health tips such as stress management strategies.    Reference materials included in this course:  Health Pregnancy Workbook (2019) Plumtree Baby, LLC It Starts with the Egg (2019) Rebecca Fett In the Flo (2020) Alisa Vitti
