ABOUT US

A birth center is a place with experienced staff and a program of care with a specific professional practice philosophy.

Wichita Falls Birth & Wellness Center is a program of care designed to give a woman confidence in her ability to give birth purely. It balances the art, science, and spirit of childbearing. The center’s program focuses on education and information for all members of the childbearing family. Most of all, Wichita Falls Birth & Wellness Center’s program gives you the time you deserve. Professionals give their time to listen and to answer your questions about birth, baby care, nutrition, and women’s health. They give their time to stay with you through your active labor and birth. Then, the professionals give their time to help new mothers, babies, and families get off to the best possible start. Such services as the birth center staff making home visits and the midwives answering the many phone questions that new parents have, demonstrate our commitment to this program of care.

At WFB&WC, we believe that women are the experts of their own bodies and that every woman deserves to have the birth experience she desires.  I feel so honored to have joined this team.”

    Stevi Eastman

    Office Administrative Assistant

Stevi has been working as an insurance biller for 6 years, after receiving her associates degree from Vernon College in Health Information Technology. She enjoys using nutrition, exercise, and essential oils to maintain wellness in her family. When her and her husband Jordan were expecting their first baby, they knew the Wichita Falls Birth and Wellness Center was the perfect place for her to have a natural birth that fit their beliefs and lifestyle. The experience was amazing and everything they could have hoped for in a birth, so when she was offered an opportunity to work there, she knew the Birth Center was the place she should be.

“I’m Happy to be a part of something that ties in my degree with my holistic beliefs and also allows me to be a blessing to others just like they all were to me when I was pregnant. It’s truly a wonderful place.”

When she’s not at the  Birth Center, you can find her outside with her son Creed, playing with their dogs and donkey at their country home, helping her husband renovate their rent houses, or gardening and living a simple, quiet life.
